加拿大多元文化民间艺术协会是一个在加拿大注册之非盈利、不涉及政治、宗教及族裔纷争的团体，协会宗旨是宣传、普及、宏扬中华文化，与加拿大各族裔的文化团体交流、切磋，为加中文化交流作贡献。
我会属下有腰鼓队、太平鼓队、女子中西乐队、舞蹈团和合唱团等团体，人员从五岁至七十多岁，经常活跃在主流社会和华人社区的很多活动中，并与很多演出团体合作演出其中包括很多非华裔团体。我们曾参加圣诞、春节、亚裔文化月、龙舟节、彩灯节、国际鼓节、“七一”加拿大国庆、“十一”中国国庆、CNE多元文化节、振灾义演和多项筹款晚会的演出、游行，我会主办的有些大型演出观众达到五千人，并进行巡回演出足迹遍布安省和外省，属下的太平鼓队和热巴鼓队是多伦多的第一支太平鼓队和热巴鼓队。
我会舞蹈团在2007年“为健康来运动舞蹈表演赛”中获得成人组“突出奖”和中年组“优秀奖”。
本协会在参加、组织演出活动之外，也积极参与其它社会活动，如十一国庆升旗议式、抗雪救灾义演、支持祖国统一集会等等、特别是在支持多伦多教育局开办孔子学院的过程中鼎力相助。
我会主办、协办了很多文艺演出包括国内团体的访加演出，2010年与其他两个协会一起主办庆祝中加建交40周年“中国广播民乐团访加演出”和舞剧“红楼梦”访加演出，2011年主办梦幻歌舞剧“火凤凰”访加演出，承办了“加华星秀”歌唱大赛，与国内歌唱大赛接轨，2013年、2014年主办了东方歌舞团访加演出。
我会还举办了摄影展、书画展及各类学艺班及讲座，每年文化部介绍中国的图片展都由我会承办，我会在普及、教学中华文化、特别是在将中国文化推广到主流社会方面作了大量工作并取得了很好的成绩，通过这些活动让更多的人了解、喜爱中华文化，将中西文化融合在一起，可以说在多伦多众多的文化团体中我会是少数与加拿大其它族裔有紧密合作的团体。
The Multi-Culture & Folk Arts Association of Canada was established on August 1st. 2007. It is a registered, non-profit, non-political, non-religious organization.
The purpose of this association is to introduce, advocate and promote Chinese culture in Canada; focus on culture exchange with difference culture groups in Canada; make contribution to the arts and culture exchange between Canada and China. All of the executive members are volunteers.
Since it is created, MCFAAC has organized a lot of culture and art activities for the communities in Ontario, such as Asia New Year 2008 performance, 2009 Multi-Culture Dance Show, 2011 Multi-Culture Dance Show in celebrate Canada Day, Multi-Cultural Show – Moon Festival, etc. We also hosted 40th Anniversary of Canada-China Diplomatic Relations Celebration Performances and musical “Phoenix”. Through these activities, we help new immigrants to be integrated into Canadian society and to enrich their social life. MCFAAC also organized seminars and photo shows.
MCFAAC has Waist Drum Group, Fan Drum Group, Sun Drum Group, Girl’s Band, Dance Group, Choir and Fashion Model Group. Most of our members are highly educated professionals in various fields. The MCFAAC provides the opportunities for artists with different background and communities to enjoy the multi-culture.
Our dance group won the “Outstanding Awards” in the adult category and “Excellent Awards” in the senior category at the “Moving for Health” Dancing Competition in 2007. We had performances at a various events such as Christmas & New Year’s celebration, Dragon Festival, Chinese New Year Festival, Chinese Lantern Festival in Ontario Place, International Drum Festival, Canada Day celebration, China National Day celebration, Asian Heritage Month, CNE Multi-Culture Festival and many charity fundraising performances. We were selected to perform for Canada National Television First Chinese New Year Gala at Sony Centre in 2014.
Our Fan Drum group & Sun Drum group are the first Fan Drum group & Sun Drum group in GTA. The group’s artistic style and authentic performances have won widespread acclaim.
The goal of MCFAAC is to provide contribution to Canadian multiculturalism and culture exchange with different culture groups.
